Tri-planar platforms are the best machines for working out. Just like linear is the best I've found for bone density and pivotal for lymphatic drainage, the tri-planar type is what I recommend if someone is mainly interested in using it for working out. The plate moves side to side, up and down and forward and backwards.
The machine we have reviewed the most are the Powerfit and Vibacore. The Vibacore with 2 motors is the most powerful one I have used for several months and if someone wants the 10 minute workout most of the websites brag about how their machine can give that, this is the type that gives it.
The better tri-planar models have more Z axis movement while the cheaper tri-planar vibration machines have more side to side and and front to back motion. It takes more power to actually lift a person up than just moving side to side. The most powerful models in this class also have more amplitude.
If strength training is more important to you than lymphatic and bone density, you can't go wrong with this machine. The only models that comes close to the intensity of a tri-planar machines is the Hypervibe. This machine will also allow the 10 minute workout where you want to collapse after 10 minutes if you do the advanced program. See my Hypervibe page here.
I rate the tri-planer vibration machines into 3 categories:
Tri-Planar Mostly Vertical
Tri-Planar Some Vertical
Tri-Planar Little Vertical
Depending on how intense you want your machine, different tri-planar models have different G forces and amplitudes. Take my vibration questionnaire and I will help you choose a machine based on your answers.
